Food for thought

Before writing this post, I was wondering about which topic I should write about.

Then I remembered one of the projects I did before, about cultural appropriation in food.

I started thinking and the phrase 'food for thought', immediately came to my mind.

I searched for the meaning and the phrase refers to an idea or piece of information that is worth pondering or thinking over. Another way of saying this means ‘something to think about.

For example, the inspiration I got for this project, came from the umpteenth pack of humus that I came across in the supermarket that doesn't look like hummus at all. That is why I felt the urge to tell my story about cultural heritage and food. I needed exactly this kind of food because it gave me the train of thought and inspiration.

That is why I felt the urge to tell my story about cultural heritage and food.

Especially during these times, I get inspiration from the empty spaces that arise in between by getting bored and starting to write about it.

The purpose of this small piece of text, which I can call my first blog, is to give you a recipe for an invisible and unknown dish. With which you can feed your brain and thoughts.

What are the things that give you food for thought?
